I own a HP laptop o which I installed Fedora. One fine day it just broke down and it appears to be related to excessive heat. I got it serviced but now the laptop appears too sensitive. I would like to use it as carefully as possible. I can’t move out of Fedora to run Microsoft Windows for my work. Is there any application i Fedora Linux which monitors CPU temparature and automatically schedules a shutdown. At least a warning notification would do.
